about anything i like
anything i like is one part art, one part questions, and one part answers. anything i like showcases art and artists from all over the place. unashamedly biased, flagrantly subjective but ultimately honest, anything i like profiles artists using interview, and includes a showcase of their work. anything i like is open all year round to submissions from practicing contemporary artists.
anything i like is published by papertiger media fortnightly.
anything i like is ISSN 1832-9535.
All works on anything i like are the sole property of the individual artists and may not be reproduced for any purpose without permission.
mailing list - likey like
artists with an interest in appearing in anything i like are encouraged to send submissions to me Ė marissa newell, your friendly editor Ė at designer[at]papertigermedia[dotcom].
fire me a friendly hello and tell me something about yourself (nothing too weird), with either a link to an online portfolio or up to three attached pieces of visual art (formatted as jpeg or gif and no larger than 200kb in total).
submissions should bear the subject line 'anythingilike_your name'
previously unpublished visual art is preferred, so please make it clear if the works have been published elsewhere (so that appropriate acknowledgments can be made).
multiple submissions are not necessary and are not welcome.
please be patient for a response, we get a gazillion submissions. if you donít here from me within say six months, then your work isnít really anything i like Ö sorry. the rest of you could expect to hear back from me some time within six months, for sure.
if your submission contains anything i like, you will be asked to complete some questions and return some answers, along with a hopefully flattering mugshot. at the same time, you will be asked to send additional pieces so that featured works can be finalised (3-5 pieces per artist).
How to email us: due to spam replace [at] with @ and [dotcom] with .com
