Queensland-centric, but with an eye to the international, in 2004 papertiger media opened an Asia office in Chiang Mai, Thailand, to complement the activities of its Brisbane headquarters. 2008 will see papertiger media continue to innovate and expand, with significant new publishing imprints on the way encompassing novels, memoirs, essay collections, chapbooks, and theatre scripts, in addition to more of the best new poetry and contemporary art.

Paul Hardacre was born in Brisbane, Australia, in 1974. His poetry has been widely published, and he has edited numerous books, journals and anthologies. He currently divides his time between Brisbane and Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Marissa Newell was born in Proserpine, Australia, in 1979. A graphic designer with international experience, her drawings have been widely published and exhibited, both in Australia and overseas. She currently divides her time between Brisbane and Chiang Mai, Thailand.
